Serum Amyloid A Protein/C Reactive Protein (hs-CRP+CRP) Rapid Test
SAA increases rapidly in both bacterial and viral infections, and CRP only rises when bacterial infection occurs, and the combined detection of SAA and CRP is more unique than CRP alone. If CRP is normal in both cases of fever due to physical factors and viral infection, the increase in SAA can indicate an increase in the tendency of viral infection.
